Visit from the German Embassy at Bentley University

What a privilege to host Dirk H. Kranen, Head of Finance Section at the German Embassy in Washington, for a roundtable on digital assets and transatlantic crypto policy at Bentley University‘s Crypto Ledger Lab today.

A warm thank you to Sanjay Putrevu, Dean of Business at Bentley, for his generous words of welcome, and to Dr. Sonja Kreibich from the German Consulate General in Boston for joining us.

Our afternoon discussion brought together perspectives from across the digital asset ecosystem. Thank you Anja von Rosenstiel (Boston Blockchain Association (BBA), Doug Mehne (Ava Labs), Mark Cianci (Israel David LLC), and Matthew L. (Ripple) for a candid exchange on stablecoin strategy, tokenization of capital markets, CBDC developments including the digital euro, and the evolving regulatory landscape on both sides of the Atlantic.

These transatlantic conversations matter. As the U.S. and Europe chart different but increasingly interconnected paths on digital asset regulation, the need for dialogue between policymakers, industry leaders, and academia has never been greater.

Grateful to Bentley University for providing the venue for exactly this kind of exchange.
